Why is AltGov doing this?
Some of our followers have asked for shirts or similar items, but we will not use our accounts to sell items and raise funds for ourselves. We love the idea of helping others, though.
We each have charities that are close to our hearts, and thought that this would be a great way to make shirts available to those who want them, while simultaneously helping these great causes. .
Do any funds go to AltGov members?
No! No funds ever go to AltGov. TeeSpring sends all money (minus their cut) directly to the selected charity. AltGov members are not involved in that process.
I don’t want to buy something. Can I just donate to a charity directly?
Yes! Each page lists the charity selected by the AltGov member, with a link to that charity’s donation page.
